Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Therapy, also known as counseling or psychotherapy, is a process where a trained mental health professional helps individuals address and manage emotional, psychological, or behavioral challenges. It aims to improve overall well-being and coping strategies.
We offer various types of therapy, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, family therapy, occupational psychology, and more. Each type focuses on different aspects of mental health and personal growth.

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone facing emotional or psychological difficulties, seeking personal growth, or needing support during challenging times. If you’re unsure, a consultation can help determine if therapy is a good fit for your needs.

Scheduling and Fees

The easiest way to schedule an appointment directly is through the online client portal [Include Link]. Alternatively, you can also request an appointment by filling out our online contact form, calling our office, or emailing us. We’ll get back to you to arrange a time that works best for you.
We believe in transparency when it comes to our pricing structure. As such, you can review a copy of our fees here: [Include Link]

We accept several insurance plans. Please check with your insurance provider or contact us to confirm if your plan is accepted and to understand coverage details.

Therapy Process

In your first session, you’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your background, and any specific goals you have. The therapist will work with you to develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Typically, therapy sessions last about 50 minutes. However, the duration may vary depending on the type of therapy and individual needs.
The number of sessions varies for each person. Some may benefit from just a few sessions, while others may engage in therapy for a longer period. Your therapist will work with you to determine the appropriate frequency and duration based on your goals.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Yes, confidentiality is a fundamental part of therapy. Your therapist will not share information about you without your consent, except in cases where there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law.
We use secure systems to store and manage your information and adhere to all privacy laws and ethical guidelines to protect your personal data.

Therapist Qualifications

Our therapists are licensed professionals with extensive training and experience in various therapeutic modalities. You can view their credentials and specializations on our “About Us” page.
